Black Screen Capture Using Debut 8.14

I am running Debut 8.14 using a computer with a Ryzen cpu, an Nvidia graphics card, and a LG monitor.  Using that software and hardware does anyone know why my screen capture area goes black when I try to do a screen capture?

Hi John,

Does this happen every time you want to record something or does it happen only with a specific content? Some streaming services have DRM protection on their content and do not allow the streaming.

Try to reinstall, remove the root folder and install again .

C:\ProgramData\NCH Software
C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Debut

If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files.

After deleting the Debut folder, restart your computer then install it again. if the issue continue, I suggest to contact the Technical support:  https://www.nch.com.au/support/faqcontact.html?software=Debut&support
