HackerDaGreat57
I opened a support ticket a month ago on support for very large images on Windows and I still haven't gotten a response. What's going on? Is the dev team working on this issue?
Jsalgado
Hi, what do you mean with "very large images"? What type of issue are you having?
HackerDaGreat57
PhotoPad is supposedly running out of memory opening a 15,000x10,000px image, while I have almost 120GB of RAM free on my Windows machine. And yes, I really do mean 120GB. This machine has 128GB of DDR5 RAM, and a decent Core i9 CPU. It is running a 64-bit version of Windows 11. Fred28
Have you tried deleting temporary files to see if that might be why it shows that error? You can check this link:https://beebom.com/how-delete-temp-files-windows-11/ You may also want to reach out to NCH Technical Support here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html to request their assistance. HackerDaGreat57
My support expired and out of the 10 support tickets I have opened NCH has responded to not even one. And I am completely sure that PhotoPad is failing due to its 32-bit nature. I cleared my cache, I reinstalled PhotoPad. What the heck, I even reinstalled Windows. Still not working. Please add a 64-bit version for download at https://www.nchsoftware.com/download/photopadsetup64.exe (This file already exists on the website server, however it still installs the 32-bit verison)
