Express Scribe won't open at all after Monterey update on Mac

Hi -- I was using Express Scribe for a couple of years with Mac os Mojave. Today I purchased the Pro version because I wanted the most updated version before I updated to OS Monterey. Then I updated to OS Monterey, but now Express Scribe will not open AT ALL on my Mac. I just get an immediate message that it quit unexpectedly. What do I need to do to get this to work on Monterey? Thank you!
