Sound clip cuts off at 2 min mark

I've made a video about 17 min long and the clip replays fine if I play it through Debut Professional, however if I try to load the same clip onto videopad or wavepad the audio part of the clip cuts off at exactly 2 minutes and I can't figure out why.  Even if I try to seperate the audio onto wavepad it loads the clip for same amount of time as the whole clip but the audio cuts off at the 2 minute mark.  Nothing I do fixes this and I've checked and made sure that all the programs are updated.  Help?

Have you tried saving the video files using a different format.  For example, you may try using mp4 and make sure to select the video compressor as MPEG4.
