After Monterey upgrade, using Express Scribe, foot pedal creates list of actions when touched

The only new thing is the upgrade to Monterey, and now, as I am transcribing using the foot pedal, it keeps popping up these tools that I don't want or need, and I have to press the mouse to make it go away.  It is maddening, and it slows me down tremendously.  Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I just received the new foot pedal.  When NCH said that the problem was probably with Infinity USB-2, and they suggested that the USB-3 works fine with Monterey, I ordered it.  And now that it has come, the problem is FIXED!  It works fine.  Thanks for your help.

Thanks to all who suggested the issue is a combination of Monterey and the (non)USB-3 foot pedal.

Just ordered a new USB-3 foot pedal --looking forward to smooth writing!
