Daniela
I would like to add notes of different duration to one system. For example: 4 eighth notes and a half note that are played together in the treble clef; the eighth notes above the half note. Crescendo won't allow to write a half note below the quarters. How do you manage this?
Robert lang
i use ties, for example four quarters tied together plays and sound like a whole note q q q q =w time wise q_q_q_q is four qs tied together, plays like whole note q q q q on C q_q_q_q tied on E plays as of you have four beats on c and one four beat note on E Fugly as sin but it works. Carol in Grand Rapids
We have encountered the same deficit. We are not able to score a half note to be played simultaneously with the first of a quartet of eighth notes in one staff. This sounds like a flaw in the programming that should be attended to in the next release.
edgar15
Yes, I agree it does not work correctly and is a nuisance and is he same for a dotted half note with and half note with out a dot.
edgar15
I have discovered this problem can be resolved by using voices. Select voices Select voice number Select note Place note Repeat using a another voice number e.g Voice No 1 half note Voice No 2 quarter notes These notes can be started together
