VideoPad exporting only a broken part of the video

Hi. I have just spent 6 hours creating and recreating a project, installed and uninstalled different versions of VideoPad over 20 times, including uninstalling with RevoUninstaller, rebooted, tried all possible formats and export settings, and my video is still exporting broken. A certain broken part of the video plays and replays 2 or 3 times instead of playing until the end.

The whole thing worked fine until today. I'm quite desperate though because I need the content asap.

I need an .mp4 file encoded with H.264 .

Please help.

What version is being used?  Look at the left-bottom corner of the VP window or the start-up screen.  Here's the latest.

Share your project.  Someone will take a look and come up with a fix.  The process is easy, quick and can be done privately.  Just follow these steps...

  •     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
  •     Upload ---  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.    Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file.
  •     Get link --- Get a public link.  If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"
  •     Share ---     Click COPY LINK | DONE.  Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

          *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

Thanks for the reply!

The main version I've been using is v 11.03, which had been working until last night.

Then, I've tried all the different versions I've found in this forum to try and fix the issue.

The newest version 11.08 has not fixed the issue either.

I've tried all the different advice I've found as well, except clearing the cache. I'm getting the following message: 'No cache files were deleted. Either some cache files are still in use or there were no cache files to delete.'

I'm sharing the project: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DmqOXfAVdhmc10TXdhdWosA5tsdbj_oY?usp=sharing

The result I'm getting is that in the exported file with H.264, after the first video from my timeline plays, the same one starts playing again (the snowy landscape opening shot) and the following ones from my timeline never play, until the last one (the green outro screen).

The exporting process only takes a few seconds, which seems strange, compared to the export time in the past or in other video editors.

Any help will be appreciated!

There's a bug in the 11.0x series with LOSSLESS video that has been reported.

Suggest using this version, and choosing LOSSLESS from the toolbar.

Or with the latest release in the export dialog box click the blue Default Quality/Filesize link.  Choose OFF (re-encode).

Please leave your link to the project intact for several days so the developers can access it.  Thanks.

Gosh, thanks! I tried the latest release with the Default Quality / File Size - OFF (re-encode) and it seems to work! That's great news.

This project is quite simple but I have another huge one half-way done in VideoPad and would really not like to have to re-do it. Happy there's a way around it.

I'll leave the link active.

Thanks for your support and happy holidays!
