Hi,

I am new to Switch.

Is it capable of converting midi files to a format that is commonly playable on all phones brands/models. If so, how to you save the converted file.

Ok the problem is this. I upload midi files to a social group and many are saying they can't play the midi (.mid) files. Many don't want to install midi players i.e they rather have them in a format that their phones can play.

Cheers,

M

The program would allow you to load the MIDI file, and select a common format like MP3 for you to listen this on a regulars player. Now Switch provide several formats, and each format would provide you the Option for the encoder.

Here you can check the supported formats, and the option to convert the MIDI files: https://www.nch.com.au/switch/kb/1405.html
