Audio stops playing

dear sir madame, i hope this finds you well. Listen i have a query not addressed clearly by your help software on the pro version of your dictation software. I wanted to find a button that would flick the audio back 5 or 10 seconds - cant find one which is very disappointing indeed. Anyway i clicked the casette icons on the toolbar whioch had forward and back arrwos, and ever since then no audio!! i check my device and its working fine, and i scrolled the volume button but they remain stuck in -db values. How can i fix thanks? i am on an urgent job and i paid good money for this software. I am disappointed i have to waste my valuable time even asking for a solution to this question.

You have to make sure that the set Sound Device is working, go to options and select Playback. You may also try to change the channel control while playing audio files. Click on view, show channels control, and change the db of the file playing.

you beauty thankyou for taking the time to reply, and provide the accurate guidance i needed to solve the problem - indeed the channel control levers had been turned off - if you dont mind me asking why do you spend your time doing this thanks?
