addressed Cursor doesn't move, nothing happens

This just started. I pause the bottom section where I'm editing to add an image. After I do this, I hit play and the cursor nor play works. It will not reset unless I close videopad altogether and then open back up. Then it does the same thing again???

This has never happened in 2+yrs of using videopad until recently.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

What version?  Look at the bottom-left corner.

Click OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files.

If no joy try reinstalling Videopad.  Here is the latest version.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

And of course, Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves.  Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite.  From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar.
