How do I get the getdata plugin to work?

I have been trying for days to get the getdata plugin to work.  I have a text file with a list of phone numbers, and a list of first names.  I am trying to look up the corresponding name and play it as a wav file.  If someone can give me a detailed explanation, preferably with screenshots, I would be forever grateful.

You say you are using a text file, in order for the GETDATA or GETDATAX plugin to work you must have the data on a CSV file. Is that what you are using? If not, then you might want to transfer the information to a CSV file and then try again. You should also contact NCH Tech Support and see if they can assist you further in case using a CSV file does not work for you.
