Playback to the end of audio recording, but it doesn't stop at the end.

I have used Wave pad for over 10 years I am sure. I don't remember this problem in previous versions.

When I listen to the last few seconds of the recording, after I edit it, it doesn't stop playing at the end it immediately returns to the beginning of the audio  wave.

This is not helpful. If I don't catch this and begin recording again, I have started recording at the beginning of the audio wave and not the end.

I can't find a way to stop this.

Have you tried reinstalling the program, I have not been able to replicate this issue. 

Also, you may want to check if this issue happens with all files, or with specific files, and contact the NCH Software support team for further assistance.
