ravenhigh
Hi there,.... I seem to be having an issue with effects when trying to copy and pasting a new layer onto an existing image. My issue is that when I try to alter the tones and colours of the new layer, it seems to let me do only *1* action ??? for example,... if I were to turn up the contrast, thats fine, but if I then try to add another action like adding saturation to the samel layer, the layer simply reverts to its original colours and I lose the contrast that I had just done. ??? Is it possible to add several different colour effects to 1 pasted layer in order to get a perfect clour match with the original photo ?? Any help would be much appreciated. Fred28
What version are you using? I tested with the example you gave and I was able to change contrast and then change saturation for the same image without affecting the contrast change I made before. You might want to reinstall the program and see if that corrects your issue, if not you might want to reach out to NCH Technical Support for assistance here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
ravenhigh
Thank you Fred,... Not sure of the version just yet, I'm just on my phone at the mo, so will check later. Only installed/bought the program a few days ago as I had used it a few years ago and liked it, so decided to use it again. Pretty sure that the previous version was different, and pretty sure that it also had a clone tool that was very handy that this new version doesn't have. I will contact the tech guys that you have linked many thanks.
