Cannot create exterior wall on third level

Hi,

I am trying to create our house, which starts with a cellter that is half within the ground. As the default stories do not fit I remove them all but ground level, I then add basement on top of the cellar, the first story. I create the wall outline in the cellar, then move to the basement, create wall, then move to first story, and can't create the wall as it is drawn in red. On top of it I had all walls vanish from a save that I created that way.

I recon I am misunderstanding something, it would be nice to get a clarification on how to use it.

In this case, it would be a good idea to send your project file to the technicians, so that they can take a look and find a solution for you.
