Adding container such as m4a to (raw) aac files?

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to do this in Switch (or other NCH or third party software) without de-encoding and re-encoding the audio?  I'm trying to add metadata to high quality aac streams without two lossy encodings (original and conversion) of the file or growing file size significantly - just the obvious minimal amount needed for the added metadata.

The Switch program would provide you the option for Audio Tags, this would display a window where you can enter manually the metadata of each audio file. In the end, you can convert the file, with the information and without changing the size.
