Audio in exported videos is low quality

Hey guys, I make music and I wanted to put my music up on YouTube, so I went to use VideoPad to edit quick music uploads for YouTube. I had this problem before years ago, so I used a different video editing program, but that program started glitching so I went to use an updated version of VideoPad. However, whenever I export, the music sounds wrong. The audio quality is very low quality. Here is an example with a simple four to the floor beat:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm5i81HX9s0 <- What it sounds like when exported on VideoPad

Notice how the clap sounds, off, and the higher frequencies have been compromised.
I want high quality audio for my music on YouTube, but VideoPad doesn't seem to work like that for me, any ideas on how to fix this?

To my ear there is little if any difference, but for gain (volume) disparity between the two.  But your ear may be more discerning.

Test different codecs.  Under AVI, in particular, there are numerous audio quality choices.  image.png
