Filenames changed into meaningless names

I have go t an ape file that I want to convert into a flac one. The ape file is named : "(01) [Andreas Scholl, Ottavio Dantone - Accademia Bizantina] Gasparini 'Destati, Lidia mia' - Aria� Destati, Lidia mia". When loaded in Switch, it becomes _9DVH4~J which is significantly less meaningful...

I set the options not not modify filenames...

What should I do? What did I do wrong?

You may want to check if the issue happens with all the APE files you try to open, and also it is likely that the name showing on Switch is part of the information on the metadata (APE Tag) of the file itself.  

You may also check on Switch > Options > Naming and confirm if you are using the option Same as source or change it if needed.

The file I want to convert are stored on a Linux computer. Usually I have no problem.

I use the option "Same as source" but the issue is that the source name is wrong... It seems that Switch is not able to red the filename correctly.

Note that Switch is designed to work on Windows or Mac. I would recommend you to move the files locally to the computer (Windows or Mac) and try to convert the files again. In case you still have issues, you may want to reinstall the program:
