johnzona
Hello, When I add any video or picture file before and after I place it in the timeline video track 1, it displays the top half screen right side up and the bottom half is upside down and reversed without applying any effects or transitions. It started doing this right after upgrading my windows 7 to windows 10. I'm not in 360 ( normal view ) I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. I have been trying to figure this out for 3 days and I'm starting to run out of ideas. Also, I can export my project in any file format and it works just fine. borate
What's the result if the project is exported, then opened in a player? If that looks good, PC video may be suspect?? Be sure that the video driver and Direct-X are up to date... https://www.nch.com.au/kb/10265.html
johnzona
Exporting projects works perfectly. I updated Direct-X right after windows 10 was installed.
borate
Check the video driver. What may be similar behavior was reported by one user later. You can also test a more extensive uninstall, using this free tool. Delete the registry entries it finds as well. Then reboot and reinstall Videopad. johnzona
@borate, I wanted to thank you for turning me on to the Revo uninstaller, it didn't solve my problem but after I uninstalled Video Pad there was scores of files that it found that were left on my hard drive that my other uninstaller didn't get rid of and literally thousands of junk files I was able to delete. Thanks again for helping me.
borate
Please try this version and report back whether it solves the issue. What are your PC's specs: GPU/CPU/RAM?
