No video but audio on MOV file

I imported a MOV file. After multiple attempts, the audio on the file will play but nothing on the video (just black). The MOV file plays fine on Windows Media Player and other platforms. Is there something in the settings or file format? Other MOV files play just fine. I converted the video to MP4 and still the same, all black.

(I am running the most-recent version of Videopad Editor Professional as of 3/30/2021)

Let's have a look at that file, please.  Someone here will check it out.  Just upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum.

Using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

Test it with this Videopad version.  Retain your current installer file and registration, if any.

Hey! I also encountered this problem. I had been working on a project and no issues then updated my program last night and now none of the files in my project show video. Hoping there is a fix as I have sunk a ton of hours into this haha uninstalling and installing an older version to see if that works.

Thanks in advance!

You have posted to an old thread, and the issue may not be the same as yours.

Use the latest version.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Share the MOV, if that's the issue and the new version doesn't fix it...
