Spaces before and after a word

If the shortcut is just for "year-old", you may need to type in the number, lets say 50, then, hit the space bar (if you type in the abbreviation just after the number, the shortcut will not work since it will take the number (50) as part of the shortcut), put the cursor back next to the number (you can use the arrow keys) and type in the abbreviation.
