Distorted Pictures

Recommended Posts

Take a snapshot of the distortion by right-clicking in the preview window - Take Snapshot of Preview or Sequence.  It will land in your Pictures folder on the PC.

Upload it to a free server such as Google Drive or Dropbox.  Get a shareable (public) link,  copy the link and post it here.  Then we can see what you see.

You might also update the program.  Here's the latest.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.

Hi

Adjusting the Position of an image should not result in distortion. The two controls either move the image up or down or left to right.

However if you adjust the Scale (size) of the image it may become stretched in one direction or the other if the AR is not first fixed by ticking the Keep Aspect Ratio box shown below. (Normally this is ticked by default.)

Thank you to both of you! The screenshot has worked before but for some reason it didn't work this time. I always have the "keep aspect ratio" ticked because it's easier. I ended up using split screen and it ended up being perfect! Thank you!
