Boris Pussenov Posted January 28, 2021 Share Posted January 28, 2021 A few months back I downloaded Videopad 8, but I haven't used it much. Now when I start it up I get a message saying the trial period has expired but I can still use a restricted version for non-profit home use. It seems to let me do most things, but if I try to select a different font than Arial, the dropdown list flashes for a second and then goes blank, stopping me from selecting any other font. The thing is, my brother downloaded Videopad 8 at the same time as me, and his doesn't do that. I'm using an old Toshiba Satellite on Windows 7, which is known for erratic mouse behaviour. Is that behaviour a limitation of the free version, or something strange about my PC? My brother's PC is much newer and running Windows 10. borate Posted January 28, 2021 Share Posted January 28, 2021 Haven't seen that behavior reported here. Were it a limitation of your version, a prompt should appear. A reinstall and reboot won't hurt.
