jpindi
I have a home edition of WavePad using Windows 10 and am trying to use a Behringer UM2 to record guitar sounds (so not plugged into the mike, but the audio jack for instruments). Prior to installing WavePad I downloaded from the Behringer website their recommended driver which is ASIO4all. WavePad recognizes ASIO4all v2 in the Recording tab of the WavePad options. Selecting that does not seem to do anything. Neither does selecting USB Microphone Audio CODEC which seems to be the other option that makes sense. I also played around with the HD Audio Stereo input 1 and input 2 to see if that is it. It is not registering regardeless of those settings. On the Windows setting for Sound I have chosen USB Audio Codec for both input and output. Toggling back and forth between Direct Monitor on the device and +48V does not work. The light comes on when I strum the instrument so the UM2 is picking up the guitar. This does not appear to be a hardware issue, but some kind of software input issue.
