solved Export is much longer than the project

I am trying to export a short 5 min video however VideoPad is exporting 1 hour and 48 mins of video that has nothing in it. Im not sure why this is happening and ive tried to fix it, Im just not sure what to do. Can anyone help?

Perhaps there is an unintended overrun at the end of the sequence.  Right-click to the right of the sequence and see if the CLOSE GAP IN SEQUENCE choice is there.

If that's not the issue, take a few minutes to share the project.  It's easy and can be private.  Then someone can look at it and help you out.  Follow these steps carefully...

•     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
•     Upload ---  Upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.*  Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. 
•     Get link --- Get a public link.  If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. Change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view"  Click COPY LINK | DONE.
•     Share ---    Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

          *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

Check Storyboard mode and see if you have an unwanted clip at the end  If you do it may look a bit like this....

 

You can easily delete the unwanted intruder.

You tagged onto a non related problem. (Topic title was perhaps too vague so it's understandable) Please start a new topic, otherwise it gets confusing.

Did you save your project at any time?....Save project   or   Save Project As?

When you re-open VP do you get a message regarding opening an autosaved project?

You have used 26 tracks?? That's a lot. 

Upload to a server as Borate describes and someone can take a look.

Now I am confused as my first reply with image was to a query by Fluubs. 

No problem though...Glad it re-opened with no crash but not knowing exactly at what point you saved your project, can't say why there are missing clips. Were you prompted to resolve any missing clips when it reloaded? Did you possibly do a save before adding further clips? nevertheless it doesn't explain why things crashed. You could try clearing the cache and re-running the vpj file you saved.
