jj15
I've been a VideoPad user for over 2-years, using the Windows 7 version from February 2018 to the end of August of this year after getting a new computer, which is running Windows 10, forcing me to use the Windows 10 version of VideoPad, which just doesn't feel the same as the Windows 7 version. I'm trying to export a video which has an audio clip which is way too loud, so I adjust the volume use the volume button and slider on the clip, however, when exported and added as a file in another VP project, the volume isn't reduced anymore, it's full volume as if the clip never had the volume on it turned down, why is that? and how do I fix it? the Windows 7 version of VideoPad never did that... Thanks.
jj15
Muting a clip works fine, but adjusting the volume doesn't.
borate
VP is the same for both operating systems. Here's the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Under OPTIONS | MEDIA tab, UNcheck "automatically normalize volume of external audio / video files." Thank you so much! I wasn't aware that was even a setting!
