jackofjr
G'day All I'm new here , I have purchased VideoPad and trying to learn all its features , it seem a really good program. I would like to ask my first question , I have searched but can't find a answer . When I edit a clip and increase the speed say x2 , when I export that clip it reverts to the original recorded speed , how can I save it at the new speed Thanks regards Jacko
borate
What version of Videopad is being used? Doesn't do what you describe here. If it plays at x2 on the timeline then that's how it should export. Please upload the project that exhibits the behavior and someone will check it out. This is easy, quick and can be private. Just follow these four steps closely... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Locate the saved, numbered FOLDER, NOT the VPJ file or the export. Upload it to a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* Get link --- Get a shared, public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. Change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Click COPY LINK | DONE. Share --- Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
jackofjr
Ok thanks , I will see if I can manage to do that, I'm no computer whiz, just muddle my way around 😀 I dunno how to upload the project, it's doing my head in trying to work it out, thanks for trying to help regards Jacko
borate
You don't have to be a wiz. Just follow the four steps in the earlier post here: back up, upload, get link, share. Someone will be glad to check out the problem.
Nationalsolo
Hi Obviously if you increse the speed of a clip x2 (200%) you should note that the duration value halves. Does this happen? At the same time the length of the visible clip on the timeline halves... Does this happen? Using version 8.94 the exported duration of this clip is now 11 seconds (as shown) instead of 22 seconds If this is not happening then something is not working correctly. Upload and lets take a look. You didn't possibly change the speed and then press Reset instead of Set? Nat
