Start recording - the recorded area is correct but an offset dashed line appears

Hello,

Has anyone else had this?  I select an area to record... no problem, but when I press record although the selected area IS recorded an offset dashed box appears which is recorded too.

Anyone else had this problem?  You can see it in the link below.  The whole screen is recorded....and also a highlighted offset box.
