Kool
Hi, I am a grad student trying to reduce noise in bird calls, since many of them have a lot of background noise. I am using the noise reduction features where I select a sample of the noise, then I select the whole audio sample, and it reduces somewhat the background noise. However, there is still a bit of noise after I do this, and it seems to compromise the actual bird call, making it sound "swishy" and not like it normally should. My question is if there is any other way to filter out noise through a sample on Wavepad. Also, I am using the trial version of wavepad to test it out, but is the Master's edition of Wavepad any better at filtering out noise https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/? Thanks for your time!
Fred28
The only ways to remove background noise can be found here:http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/wavepad/win/noisereduction.html You have to go to the ¨Cleanup¨ > ¨Noise Reduction¨ and here you can choose the option that better works for you. The only way to tell which works best is by testing.
