Alan R Posted October 31, 2020 Share Posted October 31, 2020 Have a text object. Copy. Select a different video track, position cursor, Paste. I now got 2 text items identical in all respects. Edit the newer one to change the text. Original changes as well Had wanted to duplicate the originals font/size/color and just edit the text to say something different. Is this a bug or a feature? And if the latter what makes it useful? Is there a way of doing what I want, its just so much faster, than starting a new text object and then changing all the setting to match the other one. borate Posted October 31, 2020 Share Posted October 31, 2020 Right-click the initial text clip in the bin COPY Right-click an open area of the bin PASTE (Clip) Change the text on the (1) clip and drop it onto the timeline Do this as many times as needed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
