Transitioning from ACT! to Reflect?

I work for a small office that has used ACT! for storing contacts (phone numbers, emails, addresses, company titles) and for logging histories (we add notes to contact entries and create reports tracking our submissions). We want to use a cheaper, more reliable CRM database.

Can any former ACT! users share their experience here switching to Reflect?

Specifically, can you explain how you transferred your contact database and if you were able to create history reports in Reflect?
