"Save As" won't save .wma

I've edited a track and saved it as the default .wav file. Now I'd like to convert it to a .wma to save space, but I get a pop-up box saying I can't save it because I don't have a CODEC ... what gives?

 

Also, how much space will I save by converting to a .wma file?

You cannot save as wma.

 

To save space save as mp3 (for music) or gsm (for voice).
