Bert Speggly
I want to export the audio track so that I can process it in another program and then re-import it. I have split the track many times, but I want to export the entire track, not just one clip. Can this be done? I am using the free version. Thanks Bert Speggly
Uberprutser
If you are going to use audacity you could add the ffmpeg libraries to the program so it can open a video file.
Nationalsolo
Hi Bert Save Project As. This ensures you have a vpj file available to restore your project. Click the + sign at the left of the Track that follows Sequence 1 x.. This creates a sequence in the Sequence Clip Bin and at the same time clears the timeline. Open the Sequence clip bin and right click Sequence 1 Select Save Sequence Audio as New File. This adds an audio file to the audio bin and also a copy in the default save folder set up in Options. You can now use this audio file for what you want. Close VP and then restore your project by double clicking the vpj file. Nat

Thanks but I don't use Audacity. I use Wavepad. Quote On 10/4/2020 at 2:15 PM, Nationalsolo said: Hi Bert Save Project As. This ensures you have a vpj file available to restore your project... Hi. Uberprutser
I just exported a clip with the video track set to blank. The video file I got had a black screen but the export went a lot quicker, and was a lot smaller. I edited the file in audacity and imported it back into videopad after making some changes. It's not perfect but I worked for me
