rockerron@msn.com
Can anyone help me in editing a stereo file into a 5.1 surround sound. I have tried but every time it results in a 2 channel stereo file.
Chris75
Hello rockerron, When you create a 5.1 audio file on WavePad, what the program exports is a Stereo file with the audio panning of the 5.1. WavePad does not have an option to create real 5.1 audio files with all 6 audio channels.
ronbsc
support says as below: "Hello rockerron, When you create a 5.1 audio file on WavePad, what the program exports is a Stereo file with the audio panning of the 5.1. WavePad does not have an option to create real 5.1 audio files with all 6 audio channels." My response is: why does wavepad have the surround effect if it does not work? So am I to think there is no way to make a surround sound file in this wavepad program. I bought the Masters edition.
IRM
On wavepad The Surround Sound Editor allows you to mix multiple sound tracks to produce surround sound audio. The Surround Sound Editor supports standard speaker layouts for 5.1 or 7.1 audio. It can also be configured to support any 2-D speaker layout. Take a look at the info on the link below to check all the different features avaiable under the sorround sound editor on wavepad. http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/wavepad/win/surroundsound.html
