borate
What's the resolution and format of the clip? Consider upgrading to a more current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If it still balks, please come back and upload the clip so folks can check it out. Upload to a free server, make the clip public so anyone can view it. Paste the shared link here.
Norbert_W
Thanks for the quick answer! I installed the newest release, but it didn't make any difference. The format is avi, but I couldn't find out the resolution. The file size is about 10 GB for a clip bis 50 min. I don't want to share the file. It's too private ;-( What else can I do? borate
Don't recall ever seeing a report that a file would not import. Right-clicking the file and clicking PROPERTIES | DETAILS should reveal the resolution. The only thing that comes to mind is using a file splitter to break up the 10GB prior to VP import. Norbert_W
The Idea with the file splitter worked! Tanx for support! N. Winkler
