In this case, you may want to try playing the file on another media player. If the file can't be played on other media players, then the file may be corrupted.  If you are able to play the files on other media players, you may want to contact the support team for further support.

Let's try doing a clean install and delete all the cache of the program.:

C:\ProgramData\NCH Software
C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Scribe

After deleting the Scribe folder, restart your computer then install it again from the next link: https://www.nch.com.au/components/essetup.exe

Try again to load teh media file, if you still getting issues send the information to https://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html?software=Scribe
