Instructions for audio when recording stream

Instructions read:

  • If you are trying to record sound from streaming video on your computer, you would need to use a stereo mix option (if your sound card supports this).
    • In most cases, you can connect a male to male 3.5mm stereo cable from the speaker output on the computer to the Line In port.
    • This will cause the audio to go out through the speaker port, then back in through the line in where it will be recorded.

I am on a laptop (Win 10, realtek high def) and there is only one male port (line out, I'm guessing). How can I make this work so I can record audio at the same time as video?

I might add that I tried using a bluetooth speaker (Jawbone speaker, not earbuds), connecting the male port from that to my line out, but I don't think that was at all what I need. Help!
