IsistheCat
Instructions read: If you are trying to record sound from streaming video on your computer, you would need to use a stereo mix option (if your sound card supports this). In most cases, you can connect a male to male 3.5mm stereo cable from the speaker output on the computer to the Line In port. This will cause the audio to go out through the speaker port, then back in through the line in where it will be recorded. I am on a laptop (Win 10, realtek high def) and there is only one male port (line out, I'm guessing). How can I make this work so I can record audio at the same time as video? I might add that I tried using a bluetooth speaker (Jawbone speaker, not earbuds), connecting the male port from that to my line out, but I don't think that was at all what I need. Help! Jsalgado
What are you trying to record just to be clear? Streaming audio? If you do we recommend you to use Soundtap, not Recordpad.
