No Point if Videopad Doesn't Work

Registration 40*8756-fvsvuw*q (two figures blanked) on version 8.16. It's coming up to one year since I purchased Videopad; it still crashes.

Sure, I've been able to produce some quality videos with Videopad, but its constant problems - every upgrade - are not acceptable.

One should not have to pay for upgrades to resolve faults in the Videopad software. In my experience, Videopad is not fit for purpose. No doubt the software is a fair price also considering we get free upgrades for six months, but it still hangs and it is still faulty. It's "Not Responding", it still exports videos missing the sound track, and there's been a problem with every upgrade. Problems with Videopad started before Windows 10 upgrades. After 11 months, Videopad is still crashing during exports, or clips are missing, and the software still freezes during editing.

Maybe it's a problem with Windows 10 version 1909 - and there are certainly issues there - but I have zero problems with other software.

I have read this forum for several months and have tried the suggested solutions. Having to send in reports and test videos is time-consuming and should not be necessary; the software should work as advertised and as paid for. Like everything else, if one pays a one-off fee for this product then one expects it to work - it should not be unfit for purpose. It should be as advertised and it should justify the customer's payment.

The sheer amount of lost time and frustration experienced with Videopad up till now, is incredible. So this describes my constant, annoying problems with Videopad since August 2019. Perhaps the company would care to explain on this forum why their software does not work. Does the company even care to talk to its customers? Whether or not you approve this post, is up to you.

Let's see how much the company values its customers. I'm really not interested in 'support' excuses any more.

Thanks

No answers forthcoming. That about settles the question of NCH Software customer care and service for me..
