Issues are saving recorded files

Why is it taking well over an hour to save an 80mb recorded file when it use to take less than 5 minutes... I thought I needed an upgrade..which I purchased and registered 4 days ago. Tonight I recorded my live radio show..but now having the same problem saving the file.. I've been using wavepad religiously for the last 3 years saving recordings of allm5 shows ..without any hitches ..just don't understand. 

Can I get a refund as this sucks.

Sorry You're having a level of difficulty with the newer versions..

May I suggest downloading and registering an older version which may be more stable

Not sure which one was the most recently stable one,  any suggestions from the forum

would be welcome and helpful to this wavepad customer

I downloaded a newer version because I was having problems with the older I've been using for 3 years...something's not right.

You may want to reach out to NCH tech team and see what happened they might have other things for you to try. You can create a support ticket for them here:

That's a most helpful suggestion Fred28, we'll see if the ticket response has a save as file selection.

Is it trouble saving a .wav or other format such as .mp3 perhaps. 80mb seems like a short small file.
