maStrue Posted July 2, 2020 Share Posted July 2, 2020 When I use 3 notes in the same stem and the middle note is just a whole tone higher the lower note, the middle note will move on the other side of the stem but shown as not attached to the stem. For example, F-G-D. F and D are shown on one side and G on the other side but G is not attached in the stem. Please kindly help, thank you. Chris75 Posted July 8, 2020 Share Posted July 8, 2020 Hello, The reason why the F and D notes are on one side and then the G on the other is because the space between the lines on the score is not big enough to fit all three notes on the same side.
