Unwanted click at video splits

Hello, Here's my issue: Every video and audio split generates a vertical line - handy for navigating. But with each line also comes a nasty-sounding click. I hoped these clicks would be gone after I saved the project and restarted the editor, but it wasn't so. How to get rid/prevent this clicks?

What version is being used?

Update to the latest and see if the clicks vanish.  For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.  Retain your old install file and registration info.
