Chords do not sound

Hi! I'm new at Crescendo. I would like to add chords to my score. I put them on the score but I don't hear them after clicking "Play" button - I can only hear the main melody. What did I do wrong?

What instrument are you using for playback? Have you tested it using a different instrument? You may try to uninstall/reinstall the program and confirm if the issue persists: https://www.nch.com.au/components/crescendosetup.exe
