Jo-Fx
Hello, I'm a recent user and I really enjoy the software, my footage is almost done after hours of work but I'm a bit scared with an important issue. My video contain multiple video tracks with multiple simultaneous effects (transparency, scale, in-out fades, Pan and zoom, brightness-contrast adjustments). Some effects also use keyframes. An idea: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bjsaKYhB62wxduANY8ktZpGpkMUFqlpg/view?usp=sharing In the preview window, the result is exactly as expected. Now I'm trying to export my video in 4k resolution. I've tried MKV and MP4 with H264, H265, VP8 or MPEG4 and I always get random issues in the rendering. Some elements of the sequence don't appear or they are have been renderered with lags and freezes (even when it was just a photo with in-out fade). When video is rendered in 1920*1080, result seems ok tho. Of course, I'm sure that it's not a playback issue. The problems are in the rendering process. It'a known problem? borate
If the resolution of the bulk of the source files is 4K, then VP may be bumping up against a memory limitation. Try a 2K export - 2560 x 1440. That should look good. Upgrade to the latest v8.35. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. The only way to verify this is to see your layout and test the export. Please share the PORTABLE PROJECT (not the exported 1080 result). Here's how... http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-tips-for-getting-help-on-this-forum/ If it contains sensitive material link it in a personal message (PM). Click the envelope above. It won't be passed on or retained. Use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT AS, not simply SAVE PROJECT. On the server, don't forget to copy a shared (public) link to paste into your post or PM. ou do. The process isn't difficult, takes little time and can be private.
Jo-Fx
Hello, thank you for the answer. I really need to export in 4K... Most of my videos sources are 4k and photos are even higher in resolution. And my TV is 4k Unfortunately, I can't upgrade to 8.35 as I'm a free user... I have 8.33. I will try to share a package, but I need to replace content. borate
If your version isn't licensed then you definitely can update to v8.35, and should. Keep the 8.33 installer on hand just in case. Share your project and we will assess its 4K prospects. There are some workarounds that may succeed. As mentioned, sharing can be private via my personal message (PM) box. Click the envelope above. Your project is confidential, so please keep it as original and complete as possible.

Jack11223344
Thank for your help, this bug will be fixed in the next release. BTW, there is a clip in track 3, at 31 seconds with speed change 9000, seems strange. That causes the exporting slow.

A work around can be export that part to a video firstly and replace the clip with the video. This exporting will be faster.
borate
Much faster. Here is a sample clip of what the pre-constructed clock might look like. It can be saved to your PC. With the release of beta v8.39, more exports were run on your sample 4K project. A WMV ... and an AVI or MKV with the MPEG4 compressor turned out well. As did an Mp4 using the H265 compressor. clock_white.avi
Jo-Fx
Hello, @borate: I've sent you another PM. Problem is still there with other effects...
borate
Taken to PM. Problem was with an overly high-res keying image.
