Sound Tap won't record

I was recording some songs off you tube and after recording 9 songs I went to save them and

noticed that only 6 were recorded. I went to Sound Tap and tried again hit start recording and

nothing was on the sound level below, I stopped and went to Find & Play to see if there was any

10 second listings were there again nothing the only thing there were the 6 songs I had recorded.

Went to the Help page and reported the problem was given a update patch to go from v6.01 to v6.03

which I did again no help. At 75 years I am not computer literate as I would like to be or probably be.

Can you guys help I would be forever in your debt.
