No sound in Wavepad play back; computer not muted

My mouse did something to Wavepad that turned the playback to silent.

My computer's mute and volume keys are not the cause of the muting.

I can't find anything in the menus or topics to turn the sound back on within Wavepad.

The waveforms are intact on the screen, just no sound.

if you are windows then go to options in wavepad and then to recording and then open windows mixer and check that whatever speakers you are using, headphones or whatever are enabled
