TheConverter Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 Because Switch doesn't support the option to convert any soundfile to .dss, I tried to find another programm but there is none. there are many people out there who tried to convert anything to dss and it seams like there was no programm to do this. olympus said it's not possible to convert wave to dss, but I can't belive that...(see http://www.olympus-europa.com/consumer/2590_3477.htm) So my question to the SWITCH-TEAM: Would it be possible to update Switch somewhen with this new option? nchtj Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 olympus made the dss format and therefore they have LEGAL control over it, which means they decide who can and who can't convert to and from their format. as it currently stands, they do not want third parties to support converting to their format. there's nothing we can do about it.
