sandpiper Posted October 1, 2019 Share Posted October 1, 2019 I am using Debut to transfer home videos to my computer, with a Honestech device to connect the VCR to my computer. I have chosen to use Debut rather than the Honestech software that came with the device, as it is quite dated. A 2-hour video converts to an almost 8 GB mp4 file. This seems excessive to me, and as I have many to convert, I would like to ensure that I am using the optimum configuration. Would someone please direct me to the best file type and settings?
