PeteS
Hi, I would like to be able to set the tone amplitudes as a voltage level rather than in dBs. Why? 'Cos Fourier Synthesis of simple waveforms uses integer divisors for the amplitude. Converting to dBs is a minor pain. Worse, the conversion loses precision. Decimal points on the dB amplitude would help but it seems simpler to allow amplitudes to be specified in volts - with a suitable precision. After all, the dBs will be converted to a floating-point level, internally, so why not allow that as an input? Regards PeteS
