popscribe 0
I'm a longtime ExpressScribe user, but I just downloaded the latest Mac version (on High Sierra) and I'm very interested in trying the speech-to-text function. I don't even see the "options" button on the toolbar, which is where the setup instructions say to start. Macs have a native speech-to-text function, but I'm not sure it will run with ExpressScribe. And I'm not sure ExpressScribe has the function in the free version. (Not sure why this is tagged "novice." I'm no ExpressScribe novice; I've used it for over 10 years and told countless other journalists about it.)
N_C_H_josh 0
The Mac version of Express Scribe doesn't have Speech to Text. That's only included in the Windows version.
popscribe 0
Well, that's a big ol' drag. Wonder why?
