Suggestions for new version

I sell telecom gear for a living, and I think theres a few features that would be really nice.

On outgoing calls, support to create the information for caller ID (so you could put a different number in / name in) would be great. This would make it possible to purchase cheap voip lines just for outgoing calls and maintaing just a few lines for incoming calls, but it would look like calls are always coming from the real number.

More general options would be great for each phone, such as codes to make it so you can transfer calls to another extension while your away.

A softphone created specifically for this ip pbx would be great, one designed for receptionists, with one click transfer to extensions, status for certain extensions, "transfer directly to voicemail" for extensions, ect. Just having "the ultimate" receptionist soft console phone would be great. You could maybe even intergrade "status" messages with your current express softphone product, that would then appear on the console (such as "out to lunch" or "in a meeting" or "will return at 4:30" - your software is really the future of where telephones are going and having a feature loaded package across the board would be great. You could also display in a window outside calls on hold or outside calls talking to current people showing which lines are tied up as well. The more this phone could display the better.

Better intergration with IVM, and a more clear way to link a certain extension to a voicemail box. You might also consider a version of axon that intergrates your IVN and IMS software right into it, with everything controlled through the web based browser, it would make linking axon to IVM a lot easier, and make all your software easier to use.

Also if you could suggest some wireless ip phones to use with your software that would be great, I've tried a few and not had much luck. Some phones offer web browser config pages with address books, a way to link a few models of ip phones (both wired and wireless) up to a central address book would be great. Then a easy method of linking up a desk phone and a wireless ip phone would be great (meaning if one person had both), they could easily have everything have at their desk on their wireless phone. These are just some rough ideas...but maybe something can come from them.

Also giving web login for each user to do other tasks such as some programming for their phone, such as speed dials and a web based address book would be great. So if someone is away from work when they log in to check their voicemail if there was a link to get their address book or recent calls from their extension.

The software is nice now because its so simple, but by making it more feature rich it would become much more valuable to the average business. Adding other features such as "pick up extensions" which make another phone ring when picked up (think of a loading dock, pick up the phone outside on the dock, it rings the receiving persons phone). I would suggest taking a look at some analog telephone systems (Avaya's Partner system is a good one) and see what the various features of this analog system are, you will get A TON of ideas from seeing all the various features they offer.
