Mp3 stored in wav

Is there any way for mp3 encoded data to be stored in wave file?

 

How could I recognise such data in wave file? I am writing C code for extracting data from wave chunk and distributing it to apropiate decoder.

mp3 data has to be decoded first before you can convert it, you may have to look for documenation for the format on the net. or you can purchase a hard copy of the standard from your local standards agency.

 

if you dont want to do all that, try using the switch command line to do the decoding for you (see the documentation for more details).
